Our Ballroom class for adults, taught by Melvyn Wingifield is an ongoing class for beginners, an introduction to partner dance with basic steps and moves. Waltz is one of the smoothest partner ballroom dances, and naturally in 3/4 time. It is a dance marked by long flowing movements, turns and rise and fall.
Quickstep is a quick version of the Fox-
Tango is one of the most fascinating of all the ballroom dances. Essentially a sensual partner dance that originated in South America, in the early twentieth century.
Rumba/Rhumba is the slowest of the Latin American dances and a romantic partner dance of Cuban origin.
Cha cha (or Cha-
cha cha it's unique style. It's basic step is similar to that of the Rumba/Rhumba.
Bossa Nova means "New trend" -
