Dance Teacher: Andrea Spearing
Andrea began her ballet training at the Susan Coles School of Dance in Wells; it was here she was put through her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Examinations up to Grade 6, as well as performing lead roles in many of the school’s annual productions. From the age of 10, Andrea realised her love of teaching and would assist Susan every evening, this continued for six years. When the school was taken over by Angela Redgrave at The Bristol School of Dancing, Andrea was entered for her RAD Intermediate examination, affording her the results to enter the Royal Academy of Dance three year Ballet Education degree programme.
In 2012 Andrea completed her degree with a First Class Honours, and came back to Bristol to teach the RAD Ballet Syllabus and pass on her love of dance to perspective students.
She currently teaches for The Bristol School of Dancing and Wells School of Performing Arts (formerly Susan Coles School of Dancing), as well as teaching Tiny Tutus here at The Bristol School of Performing Arts.
